I love Tom Milsom. His music is funny and tragic and experimental and catchy and often all of those at the same time. At first listen, most of his songs seem to be simple and catchy, but each new listen brings out new things in every song. This one in particular is incredibly varied and layered, using more instruments than a lot of bands use in their careers. And the lyrics are just as beautiful.

This song is from his mini-album, Explorers 6. You can listen to the entirety of it here, and I would definitely recommend doing so. It’s my favorite album released this year, and every song is perfect in ways I didn’t even know songs could be.
